This book provocative information of today’s Chinese are healthier and wealthier than even before. They are also more free. This is not the freedom of the west, which often comes with irresponsibility, but the more basics freedom that most Chinese never knew until this century. There is freedom from starvation, and largely, freedom from oppression.
